Uni's ZENTO Ink Formula - Released early 2025, the new ZENTO Ink formula, is a pigment-based, water-based emulsion ink designed to combine the smoothness of a rollerball, with the fast-drying and clean lines often associated with gel pens. The water-based pigment ink enables deep, crisp water-resistant writing, while a 'cushioning ingredient' forms a lubricating layer between the pen and the paper, reducing friction by around 40% compared to Uni's traditional water-based rollerball inks. The pigment particles in the ink are also designed to reduce feathering and bleed-through.
